This is the Medical Badge, one of four badges from Star Trek XI that the others include Science, Engineering and the Command divisions.
The badges are exact replicas of the uniform insignia from Star Trek XI, with the design of each taken from the screen-used prop. The metal pins are held securely in place by two pins on the back of the metal.
